Note, there are also required actions based on specific cohorts. These items must be completed in entirety. Required Actions for ALL Incoming Summer College Students
Pay Your Deposit
The deposit is due one week after the acceptance letter has been received in order secure a spot in the program. Please refer to your acceptance letter for your specific deposit deadline. A reminder will be sent via email or phone prior to the payment deadline.
If you are a sponsored student, we will need an email confirmation letting us know your intent to attend Summer College in lieu of a deposit.
Request Additional Services (if applicable)
If you are in need of special accommodations this summer, please complete the Office of Disability Services Registration Form. Be sure to indicate that you are a Summer College student. You will be contacted by the Office of Disability Services(ODS) via email.
Do you have a food allergy? For questions regarding special dietary needs such as food allergies, vegetarian and vegan issues or general nutrition questions pertaining to your meal plan, please don’t hesitate to call Ruth Sullivan, MSEd, RDN, CDN, at (315) 443-9884 or by email at to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
Fill Out the ‘Consent and Permissions’ Form AND the ‘Policies and Procedures’ Form
Must be completed by June 1, 2018. If you were admitted after June 1, these forms must be submitted within 48 hours of your admission date.

Please note that the online forms require both students and parents/guardians to sign the online documents, utilizing the computer mouse as if it were a writing instrument. Please do not type your name into the signature box. Submit Your Photo For Your SUID Card
Must be completed by June 1, 2018. If you were admitted after June 1, your photo must be submitted within 48 hours of your admission date.
The photo must fulfill the following requirements:
1. A high quality, clear, color photo with a plain background.
2. A front view of your whole face with no other people or animals in the photo.
3. Taken within the past 3 months.
4. Taken without a hat or dark glasses.
5. The photo must be in .jpg format and no more than 2 MB in size.
6. Email the photo (with student’s name and SUID in the email subject line) to firstname.lastname@example.org by June 1, 2018
Activate Your NetID
Wait at least one week after you have made your deposit (or confirmed your acceptance) to activate your NetID. Your NetID allows you to log into the computers on campus as well as access your Syracuse University email address. For help activating your NetID click here.
Complete the ‘Health’ Form in the Health Services Portal
Complete after you activate your NetID.
The Health Form must be completed by June 1, 2018. All health forms must be received before arrival on campus. Please disregard the July 1 date on the Health Services Portal.
In order for Summer College participants to receive assistance through Syracuse University Health Services (SUHS), students must complete the SUHS Online Form. Failure to complete and submit a health form will prevent you from being seen or treated at the SU Health Center.

Required Actions for Residential Students
Residential Students are those living on campus for the duration of the program.
Review Move-In and Move-Out Information
Visit Move-In and Move-Out Information for a detailed list of what you will need before you arrive and what to expect on Move-in and Move-out Day.
Move-in Day for residential students is the Saturday before their program from 1:00pm – 5:00pm.
All residential students are required to attend the orientation on Saturday from 5:30pm through 9:00pm (dinner included). ALL students (residential and commuter) are required to attend the orientation activities all day Sunday. Detailed schedules will be provided upon move-in. Commuter students will have modified orientation schedules which will be provided ahead of time.
Complete the Required ‘Arrival’ Form and ‘Departure’ Form
ALL residential students must fill out the Arrival Form and Departure Form prior to arrival on campus, regardless of if they need shuttle service. Both forms MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY no later than Friday, June 8, 2018.
Shuttles to and from campus will be provided on Move-in Day and Move-out Day FOR STUDENTS ONLY. Shuttles are free and will run approximately every 30 minutes during move-in times and move-out times, to and from Syracuse Hancock International Airport and William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center (Centro, Greyhound, Megabus, Trailways, and Amtrak).
Students requesting an arrival shuttle will receive a confirmation email approximately one week prior to arrival on campus.
Students requesting a departure shuttle will be sent an email approximately 48 hours prior to departure that will provide them with a specific shuttle pick-up time. The shuttle will take students from the residence hall to the airport or bus/train station.
Complete the Night Away Request Form
All residential students who plan on spending a night or weekend away from their residence hall must fill out the Night Away Request Form, found here.
Required Actions for Commuter Students
Commuter students are those living at home (or with a guardian) and are being driven to and from campus each day for the duration of the program.
