Before you arrive…
Before you arrive, please visit the Residence Life Information page under ‘Admitted Students’ for a full list of recommended items to bring to Summer College.
Students will be emailed a map of campus, directions to the residence hall, any road closures and a move-in pass (residential students only) approximately 2-3 weeks prior to the move-in date. Please review the Orientation Schedule for your particular program’s move-in date for information on when to arrive to campus. Links to move-in passes and directions can be found below:

Kimmel Move-In Pass:
Move-in day is a very busy and exciting day! Students have a set move-in date depending on the program in which they are enrolled. Please visit program pages for the specific details.
Students may pick up their key and check in at Shaw Hall between 1pm and 5pm on their scheduled move-in day.
Residential students must check in at the Shaw Hall in order to receive their class schedule, SUID card, and other important information.
After residential students check in, they may move into their room and meet their roommate.
Students may check out of the residence hall following their last academic obligation, which is no later than the last Friday of the session at 4:00pm. Students must move out of their room, return their room key, and check out at the main desk of the residence hall no later than 9:00am on Saturday, the morning after the last day of the program. Students with flights later in the day on Saturday will be able to store their luggage in a secure space in the residence hall until 12 noon and shuttle service will be available to the Syracuse Hancock International Airport and the Syracuse Regional Transportation Center (bus, train) until that time.
Acting & Musical Theater students will have an end performance the night of July 20, 2018. For that reason, most students choose to leave on the following Saturday morning.
