Required Online Forms and Submissions (due June 1, 2017)
- Consent and Permissions Form
- Policies and Procedures Form
- Procedures for S.U. ID photo submission
- Syracuse University NetID Activation (Students should not attempt to activate their NetID until approximately 1 week after their initial confirmation deposit is submitted.)
Please note that the online forms require both students and parents/guardians to sign the online documents, utilizing the computer mouse as if it were a writing instrument. Please do not simply type your name into the signature box. If your computer or device does not allow you to use a mouse to sign your name, please feel free to print the forms and sign with a pen and send in via email (email@example.com), fax (315-443-4410) or mail (700 University Ave, Syracuse NY 13210).
If you have any problem accessing or signing the forms, please contact our office at 315-443-5000 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
In order for a Summer College participant to receive assistance through Syracuse University Health Services (SUHS), the student must complete the SUHS Form. The form must be printed, completed, signed, and submitted directly to Syracuse University Health Services via email SUHealth@syr.edu; fax 315-443-9010; or mail to 111 Waverly Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13244.
NOTE: Due to HIPAA, Summer College is not permitted to receive health information. Therefore, to confirm receipt of your Health Form, please email SUHealth@syr.edu directly (and allow approximately one-week response time).
CHECK-IN/MOVE-IN/ARRIVAL TO CAMPUS
Students have a set move-in date depending upon the program in which they are enrolled. Please visit your program’s web page for the specific move-in date. Details will be emailed to shortly before your designated arrival date.
Both residential and commuter students must check-in at the residence hall in order to receive their class schedule, SUID card, and other important information. There is then an orientation session–required for both residential and commuter students–at 3PM.
MOVE-OUT/DEPARTURE FROM CAMPUS
Students can begin to depart from campus after the conclusion of their program on Friday, and students are permitted to stay in the residence hall until 9am Saturday. Taking into account programs’ typical end times, students should book departure travel no earlier than 4PM on the Friday of their program’s conclusion. Students luggage may be stored in a secure location from 9am until 12pm on Saturday. All students must depart no later than 12pm Saturday.
Early Arrival Requests
International students and those traveling from the west coast may submit a request to email@example.com in order to arrive early and move in the day before their specified move-in date. However, these students may not arrive earlier than 6PM on the Friday before their move-in date. Students will be notified via email whether their request has been approved, and should NOT book early arriving travel (or space on a Summer College shuttle) until written approval has been received.
Shuttles to campus on move-in day and on the last day of the program may be requested on the Shuttle Request Forms below, coordinated through VolunteerSpot*. Shuttles are free and run at specific, pre-arranged times to and from Syracuse Hancock International Airport and Syracuse Regional Transportation Center (site for the local bus and train stations).
*STUDENTS: Please include your First and Last name when filling out the shuttle request.
Please note that shuttles are only for Summer College student participants (not parents) and are available at pre-scheduled times. Students are therefore advised to consult with the shuttle schedule prior to arranging for airplane/train transportation to/from Syracuse. Taxi service is available for students arriving and departing outside of the designated shuttle hours.
*We’re using VolunteerSpot (the leading online Sign-up and reminder tool) to organize our shuttle Sign-ups. Click the above links for available shuttles, review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like. Sign up! It’s Easy – you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on VolunteerSpot. Note: VolunteerSpot does not share your email address with anyone.
