A variety of options

Summer College offers a variety of programs ranging from architecture to web design. Our goal is to make sure we’re offering programs that reflect the richness and diversity of the majors and minors at Syracuse University. We have credit and noncredit programs that run at different lengths.

6 Week Programs

All courses are college-level, credit-bearing courses. Students earn up to seven college credits. Programs and courses are offered in many areas of study and in two enrollment types: programs/courses that are exclusive to Summer College students and programs/courses that are open to both Summer College students and SU students.

3 Week Programs

Summer College offers a 3-week non-credit session in Acting & Musical Theater that enables students to gain college level exposure to the theater arts, develop more confidence in preparation for their college auditions, and work toward an end-of-program exhibition of student work.

2 Week Programs

Summer College provides 2-week options that enable students to gain many of the benefits of the 6-week experience in a shorter format. All programs work with University faculty and instructors and have an intensive schedule in each area of study.

Summer Dance Intensive

Syracuse University Summer Dance Intensive promises a unique and challenging dance experience that will help students grow technically, artistically, and personally. Participate in dance classes with renowned faculty and enjoy a comprehensive curriculum that includes exposure to live performances, history, and repertory.

Online Programs

We know it can be a challenge for some students to leave home for extended periods of time during the summer. Our online workshop series provides students and parents additional resources and information to help better navigate the college search and application process.
