Students enrolling in more than one 2-week program will have discounts applied to their tuition and program fees. Parents/guardians sending more than one student to Summer College 2018 programs also qualify for these discounts.

  • Enroll in two 2-week programs and receive a 10% discount on tuition and program fees
  • Enroll in three 2-week programs and receive a 15% discount on tuition and program fees

Please note that multi-program discounts are only available on tuition and program fees, and not for room, board, activity, or studio/lab fees. If you require an itemized breakdown of the respective costs for your program, please contact our office.

*The above discounts cannot be applied or combined with each other.  If a student is eligible in more than one category of discount or other aid, then s/he will be deemed eligible for the singular form of financial assistance providing the greatest benefit to the student.

SU Employee Discount:

Syracuse University employee dependents will receive a 15% discount on their tuition and program fees. This discount is for the dependents of full-time, benefits-eligible SU employees only. Please note that employee discounts are only available on tuition and program fees, and not for room, board, activity, or studio/lab fees. If you require an itemized breakdown of the respective costs for your program, please contact the Summer College office. This discount has no association with the general dependent tuition options offered by SU and is offered independently by Summer College.

*The above discounts cannot be applied or combined with each other.  If a student is eligible in more than one category of discount or other aid, then s/he will be deemed eligible for the singular form of financial assistance providing the greatest benefit to the student.

SU Legacy Discount:

In working with the Office of Alumni Relations, we are now able to offer a 15% discount on student’s tuition and program fees to admitted students who are legacies (parents, grandparents, or great grandparents attended SU) or have siblings currently enrolled at the University. Applicants will be instructed to provide the necessary information as part of the online application. Please note that alumni discounts are only available on tuition and program fees, and not for room, board, activity, or studio/lab fees. If you require an itemized breakdown of the respective costs for your program, please contact the Summer College office.

*The above discounts cannot be applied or combined with each other.  If a student is eligible in more than one category of discount or other aid, then s/he will be deemed eligible for the singular form of financial assistance providing the greatest benefit to the student.

Veteran and Military Discount:

Syracuse University is proud to have a tradition of service to veteran and military families.  Summer College will continue this tradition by offering children of veterans or active service members a 10% discount on tuition and program fees. Please note that discounts are only available on tuition and program fees, and not for room, board, activity, or studio/lab fees. If you require an itemized breakdown of the respective costs for your program, please contact the Summer College office. Documentation is required to qualify for this discount.

*The above discounts cannot be applied or combined with each other.  If a student is eligible in more than one category of discount or other aid, then s/he will be deemed eligible for the singular form of financial assistance providing the greatest benefit to the student.

Scholarships

Summer College offers need-based aid for admitted students. Scholarships are only available to students who are US citizens and permanent residents, and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis as funds are limited. In order to be considered, students must submit their family’s most recent tax returns with their application. Scholarships are designed to assist families whose adjusted gross income is $75,000 or less. Each application is evaluated independently and extenuating circumstances may be considered in awarding aid. The deadline for scholarship applications is April 1, 2018.

*Scholarships cannot be combined with any other discount rate. If a student is eligible for multiple forms of aid, then s/he will be deemed eligible for the singular form of financial assistance providing the greatest benefit to the student.

All awards are need-based. The following is a guideline of the maximum potential award. Awards may be in any amount up to these caps based on program length.

  • 6 week program: $2,500
  • 4 week program: $1,500
  • 3 week program: $1,000
  • 2 week program: $500
