At Syracuse University, we believe it’s important that students experience the value of diversity and culture. This includes geographic diversity, as we have students traveling thousands of miles to attend our programs. Summer College works with a variety of offices on campus, including the Slutzker Center for International Services, to ensure that the students who are on campus during the summer from regions all over the world have the resources and support they need to succeed. We are also supported by the EducationUSA Higher Education Community.
All international students are required to complete the associated section of the online application. Applicants from countries where English is not the native language are required to provide evidence of English proficiency.
This may include:
- TOEFL/IELTS scores
- documentation that the primary language of instruction is English at the school
- or a phone/video interview with the director of the program
Phone or video interview requests can be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 1-315-443-5000.
Students must also submit a copy of their passport with their application. This can be done online when submitting the electronic application through Slideroom.
