Typical day...
You take a three-credit survey course that looks at the history, structure, economics, performance, effects, and future of mass media. You’ll analyze content from many interrelated arenas: journalism, entertainment, marketing and promotion, sports, war and politics.
Study in the liberal arts is an integral part of the educational process that prepares you for the communications professions, so your second three-credit course will be selected from offerings designed to enhance your education and help you make a positive impact on society through media.
